Water gardens can be an ideal garden for your backyard if only if you have enough space to hold it. Yes, water gardens do require a large space to start with. This is because a pond and running stream is an essential part of any water garden, else there is no point in having a water garden. You will also need to have proper landscape edging to give your water garden the look it deserves.
If you don?t have enough space for a water garden, then you can always go for a regular garden or raised gardens. As both don?t require much space as to that of water gardens. Both the gardens require proper maintenance in terms of landscape and thus you will definitely need to make adequate landscape edging to it.
Almost any garden will need special care and thus the raised gardens or water garden too require much more additional care to keep its look and beauty intact.
The shrubs and debris will need to be cleaned properly much more in water garden than raised ones and hence you should be prepared to spare some time on them, else there is no point in creating a garden and leave them to their own and this will only make them worse and will become an eye sore rather than pleasing to eyes.
