I am looking for some unique gift ideas as I am running out of ideas f things to give people. I always like to give people something that they think is good fun and something that no one else is likely to give them. I get great joy out of seeing their faces when they open a present with a gift of something very unusual. I have just found a great website which mainly does things like coach gifts but they also do some other great personalised gifts. I love giving people personal things because it shows that I have put thought into it and it means more to them as well. I am really interested in the personalized blankets that they have as I think that they are a really lovely gift. It is great to put names on things and maybe some nice photos as well. They do a lovely photo blanket and so I may be ordering a few of those for some people. I think that they look so nice that I might even get one for myself as well.

I have always wanted to own my own snow cone business. I recently went to a franchise show to have a look and see what was available. I got very distracted looking at all of the opportunities that were available and spent ages chatting to people about what their company did and how much money it was making them. It was really exciting and it got me thinking about how good it could be for me to do something like this in my spare time and earn myself some extra money. Eventually I found someone in the shaved ice business. I spent a long time finding about how their business worked and what they liked and disliked about it. I was also interested in which snow cone flavors sold the best as I was thinking of only specialising in certain ones and obviously I wanted to check if they sold well. I was thinking of getting a cart with pink, blue and green stripes and wanted to just sell those 3 flavours of cone and so wanted to check that this was a good idea. I know have the contact details of the chap so I am hoping that I discuss a few more ideas with him so that I can decide whether it is going to be profitable and how I can get a good amount of regular customers.

I am just at work looking through my things and hoping that I can get my boss to buy me some new desk accessories. I am running out of stationery and what I do have I never seem to use. I think that it is time for me to have a clear out and start again. I also need some places to keep things. I seem to have everything spilling over each other in my drawers. I think a pen holder might be a good start and then perhaps some ways of keeping paper clips and pins together ? little boxes of some sort. Then there are all the cards, I desperately need a set of good business card holders to get some organisation. Hopefully I will be able to convince my boss that it will make me more efficient if things are organised better, which it will of course and then he might let me order some bits and pieces. He likes things being tidy as well and often looks at the state of my desk with a long hard stare! He is usually pretty good with buying things like that as long as the department has the budget for it.

I have just been to a fantastic bridal shower. I normally tend to just go out to the pub with the bride and a few friends but this was a much more organised event. I got an idea it would be when I got a formal bridal shower invitation rather than just an invitation by text or email. It was going to be a dinner at the bride to bes house, which sounded lovely. I made sure that I dressed up in a nice cocktail dress and took a bottle of wine and a bunch of flowers with me. I rather regretted the short dress as we played a variety of bridal shower games and I found it a bit awkward passing a balloon between my knees with a short tight dress on! It was fantastic fun, all finished off the most amazing meal. There were cut meats and salads, breads and cheeses and a selection of delicious puddings which none of should of had as we want to look slim for the wedding! The table was even finished off with some bridal shower favors which were a lovely touch and gave us all a great keep sake of the event meaning that we will not only remember the wedding but the bridal shower too.

Computers become obsolete very rapidly, more quickly than televisions, and disposing them off can be very hazardous. On an average, computers become out of date within two to three years. So, one can imagine that the electronic waste grows so exponentially. As computer processor and monitor contain large amounts of lead and other metal like cadmium, arsenic and mercury, the waste disposal of computer is a big challenge. In Maine, it is illegal to dispose off computer waste and according to regulation it has to be recycled. Computer Recycling in Maine is a shared responsibility of manufacturers, consumers and municipality to prevent any toxic release into the environment. So each municipality has to provide the residents some means to recycle the televisions or computer wastes.
Throughout New England, municipalities collect computer and e waste for recyclable purposes. Computer recycling MA, Massachusetts was the first in the nation, to start in April 2000, which banned all cathode ray tubes disposal in the landfills because of the high content of lead. The law was signed in 2006 which banned video display devices, like television or computer, from landfills and incinerators. Computer recycling New Hampshire law got effective from July 2007.
