Hunting is the activity through which each and every one of us can enjoy shooting firearms in a safe environment that also becomes rewarding once you start to improve your skills. However, the self loading shotgun is gaining more and more fans as this system is continuously refined by large weapons manufacturers such as Remington and Colt. The latest designs significantly reduce the recoil and this coupled with new composite materials being used in the manufacturing of the actual shotgun makes it a much more versatile option. Believe it or not there is also a bolt action system for the shotgun and although this system has its fans it has not caught on with hunters mainly due to its large recoil.
